SCME21 Ymateb gan: | Response from: Jamie Standing

I and many others are in fierce opposition to this bill and many others put out by the Senedd.

The truth is that the Senedd doesn't reflect the view of the majority of voters and is, as such, not fit for purpose.

Such a large and sweeping change to the way our contry is run cannot simply be passed under the noses of voters, we deserve to have a say, and not just via email consultation.

Simply put, there needs to be a Welsh election on the subject, not just a survey, but a full ballot.

The options should be as follows:

*In support of Senedd extension.

*In opposition to Senedd extension but keep it as is.

*In opposition to Senedd extension in favor of abolishing devolved powers.

I feel like you already know how such a vote would work out and as such wouldn't consider, however as public servants public opinion should be considered the highest priority, and public opinion, from what I have seen is Not in favor. If you do not conform to the view of the electorate then do not expect to be re-elected when Rishi finally gets around to it.

A very frustrated voter.
